Your progress and journal stay on your device
Everything you do in Star Student — cards learned, streaks, saved readings, journal entries, dreams and Star Pages — is stored in your own browser on the device you use. It is not uploaded to us and we cannot read it.
What that means for you
- Clearing your browser data for this site erases your progress. Download a backup first — the app has a backup button.
- Your progress does not follow you between devices or browsers unless you move a backup file yourself.
- Nobody else can see your journal, including us.
Installing the app
If you add Star Student to your home screen, your device keeps a copy of the app's own files so it can open without a connection. That copy is the app — pictures, lessons and code — not anything about you.
If you sign up for updates, your email address is stored with our website host, Netlify, and we use it only to send those updates. We do not sell or share it. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to the address below.
Analytics
This site does not currently run advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
